I hate when you write a note on your hand to remember later and then....it becomes illegible.....fml
Pull out a tapemeasure, note your age on the tapemeasure. Look how much you have left from your age to 100 (if you're are lucky to live that long)... Make It Count People.

Reasons I Love The Holdiays- Part Uno
1. The spiced latte lip balm from the body shop
2. The sugar free peppermint pump syrup for SB
3. Gives me a rational reason to listen to Michael Bubles Christmas album (even though it plays all year...)
4. On christmas Eve, people act in such a way similar to watching a kicked-in ant farm.... Fucking chaos!
5. The smell of butter and raisins, sweet potatoes and apples together, ginger molasses cookies....
6. Mistletoe - which ironically, I have never experienced
7. Seeing family!
8. Gives me reason to drink more wine and bubbly
9. I get to watch Santa freak out trying to take a photo with my two boys....yes, I'm evil. This year, the plan is to feed them copious amounts of hot chocolate, feed them a rack of ribs without providing the wet nap, and give them their train whistles while waiting in line....ohhhhhhh ya.........
10. Painting another round of ornaments with the kids
11. A reason to wear an ugly sweater or two
12. Salted caramel...

Finding Mr.Gym
So, I am searching of a new gym husband. A gym husband is my coaching partner and like a partner in life, good ones, no GREAT ones, are hard to find. I have had two in the past-one was my actual husband whom I am becoming unmarried to rather soon and the other I could not trust in the gym (we won't say anymore about that). Both were missing the "it" factor.
So, here is my list of what I deem necessary to fulfill the role of my new gym husband;
Mr. Gym will know gymnastics . I mean, know it. He will be an amazing technician. He will be OPEN to trying many new things. He will always be willing yo try and make it work for the gymnast- in the end, it is, after all, not our gymnastics but theirs. He will love the camera and work it like a stripper works her pole. He will be able to flip gymnasts like pancakes- ninja style. He will work with me, not against me (unless he really sees the need and in that case, there will be a fabulous reason which he will explain). He will share a love for the sport. A similar love I have. He will ADORE working with children. He will not be afraid of my strangeness but embrace it,encourage it. He will teach me as I will teach him. He will grab me a coffee in the morning as I will do the same for him. He will have my back and I will have his. He will play "good cop, bad cop" when it needs to happen. He will be okay playing either role. He will be funny. He will laugh at my ridiculous jokes. He will tell ridiculous jokes. He will agree with me on scoring during competitions because I am always right. This is not negotiable ;). When angry, he will talk to me about his issues. He will never belittle me in the gym as I would never do that to him. He will need to be understanding. I am a woman, I get emotional. When I need a cry,he will not hesitate to hug me. That being said, he will be a hugger. This is also not up for debate.
He will do youtube. He will make videos with me and not be afraid to be ridiculous in them. He will play in the gym. He will allow kids to be themselves. He will help the athletes reach their goals. He will help me "deal" with the parents. He will express his opinions openly without hesitation. He will, most importantly, love being my gym husband and not be afraid to get a giant drink after a rough day of practice with his gym wife.

The Acceptable Standard
What does this mean exactly. Especially when you have none.
I have standards- they are just not as high. I have a yearning desire to accommodate my zest for life. By raising my standards, I would be limiting myself.
Few rules. Little expectations and a hell of a lot of fun.
Yes, I experience more trouble than most however at least I usually have a smile in the back of my pocket I can pull out at a given moment.
Except if I leave it run through the wash. Damn it.

Drops of Jupiter- Make it Happen
Now that she's back in the atmosphere
With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey
Since the return from her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey
Tell me did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated
Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there
Now that she's back from that soul vacation
Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey
She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo
Reminds me that there's room to grow, hey, hey
Now that she's back in the atmosphere
I'm afraid that she might think of me as plain ol' Jane
Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land
Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the Milky Way
And tell me, did Venus blow your mind
Was it everything you wanted to find
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there
Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken
Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong
Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone conversation
The best soy latte that you ever had . . .... and me
Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back toward the Milky Way

Thanks
It's thanksgiving in America today. Being a dual- I am wishing everyone up here the same. I had some odd looks- but then I thought- Everyday, you should be thankful, not just on one designated day of the year......
So, here goes.
I am thankful for:
-My children - they are pretty spectacular
-My mother- she's so far yet I know she is there for me when I need her
-My close friends- yes, you.
-Everyday life - I consider myself lucky as there are people out there in far worse situations than mine (perspective ;)
-Cheese- yes, cheese
-Wine
- non-sugar sugar
- public transportation- this weighs down the amount of cars on the road so I can get to work faster in my vehicle ;)
-Tassimo and her espressos I can honestly tolerate
-honesty and integrity
- 24 hour Macs stores
-social media (how did we ever do it before?)
- my 'family'- yes, you are a part of that
-songs that make me smile and cry at the same time
- my imagination

When One Door Opens....then closes. Then opens and closes.
..... This was a giant fork. This was a monumental shift in my life. Funny, how at that very moment I chose to capture it.
Still feeling the aftershocks.
I hear they can last for a lifetime.
I'm ok with this.

Childhood Memory
Let me introduce you. This is Writing-On-stone Park.
She is a freak of nature.
Situated in the armpit of Alberta.
I used to go camping here as a kid.
Isn't it wonderful?

Syked Photography Is Totally Psyched!
Today Is A Remarkable Day In Photography!!!
I once came across someone try to take my copyrights away from me- they called it "intellectual property".
This is HUGE!

When Life Hands You A Lemon, Make A Steak
Do the impossible
Strive on with ferocity
Be extraordinary
Be passionate
Be aware,persistent
Annoyingly so
Be brilliantly impetuous
Be tastefully abrupt
Complication will happen
Disparagements,too
Keep on, go forth
Seize that yearning desire
And most importantly
Love exuberantly along the way

Getting Syked
So, I have made a promise to my camera to put her to work for the next couple of months. My photo blog is seriously neglected (that, and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to get the photos to "do normal".)
I look forward to getting slapped a few times for inappropriate angles. I'm okay with this. Maybe someone will take a photo of that.

Mix It Up Baby
I paint every now and then. I am no way by any means good at it. But, I enjoy it. Usually, I am bested by my 5 year olds. I'm quite ok with this. The fact of the matter is- it's something that I have created and when it's complete I am the only one who can say it truly sucks ( as I usually do not share my paintings except for the one below).
I have neglected this hobby for a while. Time to pick up a brush and create some chaos.

Hello
Funny story.
Monday- I'm sitting at the front entrance and literally witness this dude standing around, checking things out. He goes to turn and walk away and runs right into the sign pictured below. He was literally right beside this thing when it happens. It almost knocks him on his ass.
I burst out laughing.
He sees me giggling.
His face burns with embarrassment.
I then tell him "don't worry, no one saw"...
Tuesday rolls around.
Same time, same place.
In sitting in the same chair.
He walks out with a friend and spots me. I spot him. We both look at the sign...
I burst out laughing and he shakes his head in embarrassment.
I tell him I wish for a repeat of yesterday.

Perpetually Complicated. Yes. And So Are You!
Indeed by saying perpetual it would recommend that the state of complication will indeed march on.
I can assure you, this is likely the case. Just on varying parallels.
Surely time has a way of working itself into a less convolute or complete cataclysmic state but out of complete complication?
Complicated can be interesting.
Intricacy, complexity, elaborateness....
These are straight from the thesaurus and are related to "complicated" and do not necessarily suggest negativity.
I would love to see all complication dissipate for just a week. That being said life may not be as interesting then. I have the ability to be annoyingly tenacious. Perhaps I could give it a whirl. If I am successful I should consider using the word "transiently" in the title would be more appropriate?
Enough for now.

A hole is meant to be filled.
What happens when you cannot find the peg with which to fill it?
Some may call one crazy for trying to fill a round hole with a square dowel- however, little does this person realize that there is such thing as sandpaper...........

Nothing
I am starting a new underwear line.
It will be called "NOTHING"
People will ask:
"What are you wearing?"
They will reply with:
"Nothing".

Total random suggestion of the day:
Classy: Pick up a random rock from the road and give it to someone who you hold dear in your heart. Tell them this is what YOU are to THEM.
Trashy:PRETEND to have the biggest fart in a room full if people (make the face and proclaim "silent, yet deadly) and see how many people clear the room or actually say "man, your @&$?ing rotten"
5th Food Group.Caffine.
The group is derived from mainly empty sources of nutrition that have no signifigant value what-so-ever to ones dietery needs. It provides a jolt of energy when required. It is very comparable to a cold splash in the face or a stranger making an uninhibited decision to sit, naked, on a bench in the Castro district (if this doesn't wake you up then honey, NOTHING will).
It curbs the sugar craving without actually contributing to ones hip circumference (well, that's not scientifically correct but I shall declare the theory factual until otherwise proven).
You can whirl it together with pretty much anything. There are so many ways in which it can be consumed. In a mug, in dessert (careful, my theory now stands on a grossly thin sheet of ice), in its raw form, in MARSHMELLOWS?!?!?!?!?, etc, etc.....google it, you can find the many ways.
Apparently, you are less likely to suffer from Parkinson's. Another notch on the coolness belt.
When taken as an enema, it detoxifies the liver and cleanses the colon. Everyone wants a clean colon, right?
It can reduce post workout soreness by 48%. Shit you not .... Well, that's arguable considering the above statement.
One word STAMINA.
Anyhow, as addictive as it is, realize one thing. Without it, you simply may not be as fabulous. That's something you don't want to chance, correct?
